The Workshop Programme

Country coalitions can be as much in need of negotiating capacity building as individual
countries, if they are to function as an effective group. The Group of Least Developed Countries
(LDCs) with its progressive potential for the negotiations, in particular, will only be able to make
its voice heard by harnessing the considerable potential for synergies between its members.
